I am a Consultant Psychiatrist at The
Priory Hospital North London where I am available for private
and some NHS consultations. The hospital was designed by John
Nash and,in my opinion, is the most beautiful psychiatric hospital
in the world. I specialise in obsessive compulsive
disorder (OCD); body dysmorphic disorder
(BDD);health anxiety; depression;
phobias (especially vomiting); PTSD and cognitive behaviour therapy.

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist in Cognitive
Behaviour Therapy at the Centre
for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma at the Maudlsey Hospital
and look after the Anxiety
Disoders Residential Unit at the Royal Bethlem Hospital (both
part of the South London and
Maudsley Trust). I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute
of Psychiatry, King's College London. Here I see NHS patients

treatment manual on body dysmoprhic disorder and one self-help

(BABCP) and am an accredited cognitive behaviour therapist.

member of the Editorial Board for the journal Body
Image, an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes
high-quality, scientific articles on body image and human physical
appearance and edited by Professor Thomas
F. Cash.I am a a member of the Editorial Board for Cognitive
and Behavioural Psychotherapy and The Cogntive Behaviour Therapist.

Guideline development group for the treatment of OCD and BDD.

Conference, which organised an annual conference for individuals
with anxiety disorders, but has now sadly closed down.
