We need funding to conduct research at the Institute of Psychiatry into Obsessive Compulsive and related disorders such as Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and Emetophobia and their treatment by cognitive behaviour therapy. They are not very fashionable subjects and it is difficult to attract grants. All donations however small are gratefully received and will be put to good use in research into treatments for these conditions and a greater psychological understanding of the problem. Please use the form below to discuss your wishes.
If you wish to donate a gift to our research programme, please do contact me. Please make a cheque payable to “King’s College London” and send it to me: Dr David Veale, Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, 99 Denmark Hill, London, SE5 8AZ. In your letter please state that you wish your gift to be used for research into the area you are interested in. Kings College is a charity, so consider using Gift Aid if you pay income or capital gains tax that is at least equal to the amount that the tax that the charity can claim on your gift for that tax year. We can then claim 25p of every £1 that you donate. On your letter you must provide:
1.Your full name and address 2. State in your letter “Please treat the enclosed gift as a Gift Aid Declaration”, 3. Sign and date it.
All gifts are extremely gratefully received and will be put to good use
