Will you help me raise funds for either OCD Action or the BDD Foundation?

I’ve signed up to Nightrider London. This means I’ll be cycling 100km, at night, on Saturday 11th-12th June.

It’s complete madness on my part but you can help make it my worth my while by sponsoring me. Head over to the Just Giving pages for OCD Action or for the BDD Foundation to make your contribution. I’m proud to be a trustee for both charities and my target is to raise £1000 for each.

Even better, will you join us in our ride? You can choose to cycle either 50km (takes about 3-4 hours with stops) or 100km (6 to 8 hours).

It’ll cost you £58 to register. For this, you’ll receive free water and snack stops, mechanical support and marshals along the route. You’ll also be rewarded with a well-earned breakfast and medal at the finish. You’ll make friends and hopefully lifelong memories. In the past I’ve cycled from London to Brighton, about 70km, but this seemed more fun. It begins and ends in the Velo Park in Stratford. Highlights include cycling through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, the Royal Opera House and the London Eye.

The charity you help you make a fundraising page and agree a minimum target for you to raise, with lots of tips. A lightweight road or hybrid bike is recommended. The minimum age for participants is 16. Those under 18 will need to provide a letter of consent from a parent or guardian.
